Stop posting in the moment and start capturing it instead | Part 2

Lets continue with the 2nd part to yesterday's topic... part II... the actual "posting" to social media.

So we already know step one is get footage as often as possible and don't even think about what's next in that moment. Get it and hold it until it's time to do something with it.

The 2nd part is the actual posting..

So before we get technical let's start with the basics of posting something daily in 7 simple steps..

Step 1 - write your copy. I am okay with you spending up to 30-45 min in the morning on this but only if it doesn't interfere with your routine lead generation. I like the morning for copy writing because you are fresh and the ideas are more likely to flow better but under no circumstances do you start fooling around with the actual posting of your content in the am.

Step 2 - posting must be scheduled during admin time.

Do not start distributing your content until the PM. Posting content is considered "administrative" work by our standards and therefore it falls under the no admin rule in the morning.

Step 3 - proof your content one last time and post your content!

Step 4 - once your post is out there, go back and proof it. Assuming you proofed it before posting, it's a good idea to double check the copy, the sound, etc to make sure it posted the way you wanted it to.

Step 5 - take your post and distribute elsewhere. Do not use the "share" feature and instead create a totally new post for whatever platfor you use.

Step 6 - be ready to engage right away. This is another reason why I don't want you posting in the morning because I want you to start engaging with those that comment while the post is fresh so it helps it get more eyeballs on it. You could spend the entire morning engaging with people and I don't want that distraction in the am.

Step 7 - measure your results after 24 hours. Keep an eye on the engagement, likes, comments, etc to get a better understanding of what gets engagement and what doesn't for your next post.

Okay so between yesterday's and today's message you have a plan, now, let's go execute and don't forget to get some footage this weekend and until then, have an unreal Friday!
